Stop Spinning Your Wheels and Start Managing Your Life Successfully
If you are feeling like your life is running out of control, leaving you
feeling drained, overwhelmed and suffering, I am here to help you!
I am going to give you simple steps over time that you can apply to your life right NOW, which will help you manage your life, so you are excited, happy, have plenty of time to do what you desire, and feel in control of your life.
If you apply them throughout the day as a way of life these steps will change your life in positive ways.
One of the ways we undermine ourselves and create suffering in our daily lives is that we constantly are judging ourselves. We hold unrealistic expectations about what we are to accomplish in a day. And we expect that it has to be “the best” or be “perfect” or we have failed.
We are trained to look for mistakes and how things aren’t working with a hyper critical eye. You have been trained to have this perspective through childhood at home, in your schooling, religion, culture, and the media… A side note on judgment: any criticism of others is really a judgment of yourself, we are seeing in others what is going on in our selves.
So, no matter what you accomplish it is not enough because your attention is on what you don’t want to happen; be less than, not measure up to other’s expectations, be left behind, miss out on something, fail, not be loved…
The first step:
Make a conscious decision to appreciate yourself every day!
By putting your attention on what there is to appreciate about yourself you get to see your value, what is working in your life and how powerful you really are in creating a life for yourself and helping other people solve their problems (your career/job/service). You will create a more positive attitude and attract more opportunities to add more value to the world around you.
Taking yourself for granted is not an option for success of any kind.
When you comprehend your value, you will not let others take advantage of you, and you will empower those around you to appreciate themselves. You will see the value you contribute and your life becomes more meaningful and empowering.
Ways for appreciating yourself
Make a list of your strengths, talents, and uniqueness.
What are the problems you solved for your clients/family/friends today?
What do you bring to the table that no one else does in your life?
What did you create or manifest for yourself today?
What magic occurred in your life today?
What positive people/situations/events did you draw to you today?
Consider this; You create everything in your day…really think about that last statement…now how incredible are you for creating everything in your day? You have got to appreciate your creativity at least!
So, appreciate where you’re at right now, your ability to create what you want, as well as what you don’t want. How about your ability to change what isn’t working for you at this time and explore what else can happen. Appreciate your honesty, compassion, empathy, friendliness, effort, heart, body-spirit-mind, ability to feel emotions, drive a car, have work, have time to seek, breathe, and everything else.
You are an incredible spirit in a human body on a journey to find a way to exercise your freedom of expression and that looks different for everyone.
You are not to be like anyone else! You are UNIQUE! Celebrate it!
