Who Are We?
 Â
Who we are shapes our destiny.
Our positive or negative beliefs impact every aspect of our life.
Our beliefs act as filters on a camera, changing how we see the world.
We can choose how we want to see by learning to harness our mind promoting a healthy and fulfilling life.
What we do is based on our identity. Those elements we use to describe ourselves with conviction are our identity, whether they are true or not. We identify with emotions, roles, job/career, metaphors, feed back from past, spirituality, looks, accomplishments, what you are not, the past (not good enough, popular, addict, smart, sexy, fat, loveable, unlovable, confident, smoker, extravert, creative, weak, don’t know enough, unhealthy, over the hill, angry, funny, victim…)
The biggest problem with most people is we are not conscious of the beliefs that are designing our identities.
One of our strongest needs within our personality is to make certain that our behavior is consistent with our identity, even if the identity we hold for our self is negative.
That is why we do something even when we know it isn’t good for us like smoking. We see ourselves as a smoker. If we see ourselves as a smoker we must smoke! And we look for ways to make that happen whether we are conscious of it or not.Â
The more we give attention to our beliefs, the stronger the neural connection in the brain. It then literally becomes our inner reality and that influences our outer reality. We have to consciously change our inner reality to make our outer reality what we want.
Change how you see yourself and you change your world. Where to start:Â
{Â Â Â Â Â Take on a new level of thinking: consciousness instead of unconsciousness
{     Change your attitude from negative to positive: put attention on what you want not what you don’t want
{Â Â Â Â Â Consciously identify yourself to the behavior you want to change
{Â Â Â Â Â Expand your vision of yourself, step outside your comfort zone (what you already know).
{Â Â Â Â Â Be careful what you buy into: labels, judging, expectations
{Â Â Â Â Â Realize: We are not our thoughts; we are the thinker not the thought
{Â Â Â Â Â Believe: I get to determine who I am; I am responsible for my life; There are many choices
{Â Â Â Â Â Question limiting beliefs:
What do I believe about myself?
Whose belief is it? Parents, Society, Religious…
Is that who I am or is that just how I am use to acting?
Am I my past or am I who I want to be now?
  Â
We are what we believe about all day long!
          Â
           Your beliefs become your thoughts
           Your thoughts become your words
           Your words become your actions
           Your actions become your habits
           Your habits become your values
           Your values become your destiny
